I mistyped earlier and said First Drop of Crimson was my Friday book, but it was actually for my landing on Start. That being said, I enjoyed this book. People actually talk to each other, the humans aren't immediately discounted because they're not vampires, and the main character Kira is kick ass. I like the interactions between her and the other characters, because she uses her brains and training instead of her physical looks, all while holding in mind her mentor's credo, Save one life.
